About Science Fiction

Science fiction asks what might happen if: if a scientist could make life, if a traveler could ride a machine into the far future, or if visitors from Mars came to Earth. Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (1818) is often called the first science fiction novel. H. G. Wells followed The Time Machine (1895) with The War of the Worlds (1898).

All three are retold here as illustrated picture books with audiobook narration, with the full original text free to read afterwards.
